Blood and Fire
My first introduction into this band"s musical universe was their debut from Lifeforce Records "A New Disease Is Born" in 2007 and since then Nightrage became for me one of the favourite Swedish melodic death metal bands! These guys have their own personal way and sound, and their new album "Wearing A Martyr"s Crown" is no exception to this rule. Unique guitar solos, excellent cavernous death vocals, fantastic thrash and melodic riffs combined with some hellish drums, all of these create a metal monster with a stable symmetry between some classic elements of this genre, touched by a very fresh and cohesive conceptual vision. Finally all I can say is that this album is a mixture of pure anger and energetic aggression perfectly balanced by beautiful melodic passages and put Nightrage in the first division of melodic death metal bands!
